I was born and raised in Apple Valley, Minnesota. I was required to research a career choice in Middle School and I told my teacher that I loved cartoons and drawing. She looked at me with a blank smile and said, "Maybe you should try Architecture?"

Like any other American boy, I was raised on cartoons. Warner Brothers cartoons were my first love, but after "Toy Story" came out in 1995 I fell in love with 3D animation. It wasn't until I watched the 'Behind the Scenes' for "Monster's Inc." that I discovered I could be an Animator. They were goofy, geeky, observative, easily amused, and imaginative. At last I had found others like me.
